Just exactly what is going on here? I put in a comment and attach a picture and the next time I look it has been removed. I put it in again and again it is removed, so I put it in a third time and, lo and behold, the same comment with the same picture attached appears three times. Is someone playing some silly joke on me?
It's the same guy in the cheeseburger photo doing the samething. Obviously has a foot fetish. In this picture his facial expression is saying "hey wikifeet people, don't CHA wish ur girlfriend was hot like mine, don't CHA wish ur girlfriend had feet like hers"
Please do not use emoticons, they are not universally supported. Actually support is totally in the hands of the developers of the browser so you can't even be sure that browsers that do support them will interpret them in the same way.
They're supported by all the normal browsers used by normal people (IE, Firefox, Chrome, Netscape, Safari), and they are permitted here. If you're some geek with some obscure browser on a Linux OS, or on this site from a mobile device, well, whose fault is that and why should the 'average user' here change what he's done for years to accommodate your idiosyncrasies? Here, see how this comes across on your system: (◣ _ ◢)┌∩┐
The fact that the comment was approved clearly indicates that most users are able to view the emoticons. Also, I can think of at least one user who would claim that there's nothing in the guidelines that say you can't use emoticons.
