@BinB...Actually I'm not a native Iowan...born and grew up in Chicago area (in the good old days before urban sprawl and gangs took over) Moved to Iowa in '88 from Milwaukee where I had the record store. Didn't know squat about corn farming until '94 when I married the farmer's daughter (somehow she's still with me after 20 years) 2) Have thought about relocating to Colorado, but wife's family is all here...AND...like you, waiting to see how things shake out with the grand experiment. In the meantime...just keep humming..."Rocky Mountain High." (Never cared much for John Denver, but he did leave us with that immortal song, and corny as it was.. I loved the movie "Oh, God."

@warp- 1) "Sky High" was a great song, always loved it. 2) I'm actually considering moving to CO for that very reason (but sort of waiting to see how it all shakes out, e.g., you can still lose a job or drivers' license there if you indulge) 3) Toldja I had lots of family in your state. One was a corn farmer (bet you never heard of *that* before! Ha!) but had a big field of leftover hemp from when farmers were *required* to grow it for the war effort.
@Pixxxie...yes I know. Unfortunately Iowa where I live isn't one of them, and with a Republican governor whose head is buried in the sand, who states publicly that even medicinal pot would be a gateway to hard drugs, it's not likely to change anytime soon.

@warpedmind - 20+ states have medicinal programs and recreational use is legal in Washington and Colorado. :)
@BinB...door #2 is the winner...always liked "Sky High" (maybe because it reminds me of the good old days when I used to be in that state of mind regularly) If I live long enough to see the day Mary Jane attains legal status, I can once again indulge in enhancing my musical appreciation through inhalation.
