@feets of strength- Stick around, bro.. I know the A$$hat malicious reporters are a problem, especially for uploaders, but that's no reason to throw in the towl permenantly. Get back in the ring and keep fighting! If you're having issues with your pictures being unjustly reported, then you need to start coming to the Guild with your problem. Plenty of good guys in there, and they will help you if you have a legitimate concern.. (As @Toe would say) Thank-you for flying Wikifeet! (As @Templar97 would add) Please don't give up on this ship! :)

@FoS - as was discussed during a chat with @Creator this morning, he keeps everything around. If you email him, I'm sure he can look for any patterns of malicious reporting with your uploads. There are some ignorant users out there that don't always recognize what you offer this site.

I appreciate the support, but the amount of work I spend hunting down photos of vintage and more obscure celebs versus the time some idiot takes clicking a report button is pretty daunting, by the time I find some of my galleries under attack the damage is usually done. I'll try to stick around but I feel like a fool putting so much work into it when I could just save the finds for myself and be free of a lot of aggravation.

@feets of strength bro I concur with our bros above: stick around and report every instance of malicious reports upstairs, the admin keeps track of everything etc.

@feets of strength- *Please* if you have time, come to Guild Chat as @Creator (Eli, the site Admin) will be continuing what we have dubbed his monthly "Fireside Chat" wherein we report such problems. This very subject came up at length today, and he is aware of it, especially said he would try to think of a solution for the "PQ" reports on rare pictures and obscure galleries. We *really* appreciate the work you have been doing here, and would hate to see you quit! Take a vacation if you need, but *please* don't stop!

Yes, and what @TRLB said. @Creator has specifically said that if uploaders will *write him* when this happens, he will see who reported it and censure them appropriately, and restore the photos (the are still on the server and never really 'gone')
Toe (user)2014-09-02 03:20:29
@feets - When you write @Creator, write what you just said in your last post. I could not have said it better myself. We all did talk about this extensively this morning, and I am positive he will respond to your report. In fact it helps us, because your voice just adds to the case. So please stick around and follow up with it.
BackInBlack60 (user)2014-09-02 03:24:35
@Feets- ALSO... if you ever notice a bad report, come to Guild Chat before it's too late and tell us; we will help you unreport and *defend* it from re-reporting.

@feets of strength- See what I mean about all the awesome Guilders ready to help you? Take advantage of their presence and keep uploading that incredible vintage content!!

Thanks all, I like the idea of an arbitor in these matters, I trust the judgement of other Guild members, but I suspect the culprits are not of that status.

@feets of strength- If you have time, *please* attend the 11/01 "Fireside Chat" with the Site Owner/Admin in Guild Chat, as the subject of false reporting is going to be the #1 "Hot Topic" and possibly only issue addressed that day. He has assured me he's thinking hard about solutions, and has solicited our ideas on it as well. I've proposed a number of possible solutions in the past; the #1 most popular among Uploaders & Guilders is Non-Anonymous reporting (see the current Guild Polls), but @Creator has always been adamantly opposed to that. But please pop in on 11/01 and offer both your level of frustration AND any ideas you have for fixing the problem.
^ ^ ^ Trolls like that. Probably a SFR reporter.

@BiB60, I'll try to be available for some of it, it remains a constant frustration, and I don't even upload all the great arch pics I come across because I know mis-informed reporters will just shoot them down as no feet. The behavior of anonymous reporters is ruining the site the guidelines are fine but anyone can report with any knowledge of them.
BackInBlack60 (user)2014-10-19 21:29:31
And I suspect @feets meant to say "...the guidelines are fine but anyone can report *without* any knowledge of them."
Exactly, and do so both anonymously and with little fear of consequence, unless the 'victim' takes time to write the Administrator, who takes time to investigate it and do something about it like e-mail the bad reporter--- a half hour of manpower to correct some boob's two-second mouse-click on a web page. That just ain't right, and doesn't even account for the damage done to the time investment of the person who found, downloaded, and uploaded the photo to begin with, and has to be accountable for *that* BY NAME.
I meant to say 'SRF' (Stank Report Finger) reporter.
