She is a comedic genius after all, and I would like to see her making comedy for many, many years to come. She's thoroughly brilliant. I don't know her personally so that's the only real value she has to me as a person. I want good things to happen to her, and for her, but I wouldn't lose any sleep over it were that not the case. Does that make me an insensitive prick? I like to think it makes me very concerned about my own sanity - I am only holding on to sanity by a thread as it is. I can't let myself be concerned with people I do not know. Although, as Pixx pointed out, I was also really bummed about Robin Williams' passing, as I was by George Carlin's and quite a few others. Because they were great artists and will no longer be contributing that art to the world.
As to her not having a Twitter account....why would you give a shit? I only have a Twitter account because I write news for a living and often retweet news stories, but I never post anything personal on it. Facebook is another story. Point being though, social media is not really that big a deal to people from Kristen's and my generation, not generally. Oh, it's convenient and often entertaining, but I can honestly say I wouldn't give a rat's ass if they both went the way of the dinosaur tomorrow except that I might lose some irreplaceable photos. I have other interests, as do most artistic people like her, and I would get a lot more creative shit accomplished if I did NOT have social media. Hell, I could even do without the Interwebz were it not for this here website. :P
