Thanks for the hookup! If I don't get my Jillian fix every few days, I begin to experience withdrawal symptoms that include restlessness, aches and pains in the bones, diarrhea, vomiting and severe discomfort.
@ILF- I thought *we* were a tag team! As you can tell from my expression and body language, I'm a little miffed about your 'friend' you invited over who seems to be trying to take my place here! Jillian is *mine* I tell you! MINE!
I see this question asked quite a bit, but I'm actually looking for an answer. What does it take to get a gorgeous rating? Is it a percentage? Is it hard numbers? She clearly deserves the gorgeous rating, the 16 people that rater her feet bad or ugly notwithstanding.
You've got questions... we've got answers! The "Gorgeous" rating and site rankings are based on much more than just average votes. @Creator won't reveal the details of the algorithm but it takes many factors into account, even 'false' votes, etc. It is weighted by how many 'beautiful votes, and total voting volume, so lesser-known celebs have to be rated much higher. A celeb who has a *lower* average rating but thousands and thousands of votes will be ranked higher and can get 'Gorgeous' while another lesser-known with a higher average rating may be merely 'beautiful.'
Although I enjoy the mathematical aspect of it and trying to 'figure out' the algorithm, the greater mystery to me is why users *care* what other users think or how a celeb is rated. But then I'm a 'rugged individualist' and really only care what I like, not what others like, and what *my* rating is, not how it compares to others' ratings. They're entitled to their stupid opinions! :)
